The Theory 1 is
the first model to be developed at Conspiracy Bike
Co. The frame features adjustable travel from eight to ten
inches through the custom mounted X-fusion Vector DH 2.0 shock.
The frame is suitable for both freeride and racing applications and
features precision machined interrupted seat tube plates, CNC'd yokes,
integrated seat post clamp and full outer cable routing. The
shock provides enough adjustment for any racer to find settings that
will suit their needs but is also simple enough to understand that any
novice rider can also have a go at fine tuning the ride
characteristics should they feel the need.
The frame,
constructed from 7075 Aluminium, utilises the proven four bar linkage
system to provide fully active suspension performance whilst
minimising the undesirable effects of pedalling and braking forces.
The standard 1 1/8" headtube features ring reinforcing to prevent
ovalising and is also supported by three strengthening gussets with
the downtube and top tube to ensure this connection is as strong as
possible.
The fully CNC'd linkage plates feature three position adjustment which
allows the rider to fine tune the suspension travel, head angle and
bottom bracket height to suit the their type of riding and the trail
conditions. The frame comes supplied with a 150mm, 12mm axle
Conspiracy Rear hub which enhances the stiff, flex-free feel of
the rear end. Fully sealed cartridge bearings are specified at
every single pivot to ensure that the frame is as maintenance free as
possible whilst ensure suspension motion is smooth and controlled. Specific frame details as follows:
